SOAS Research Online

SOAS Research Online (SRO) is a free, publicly accessible repository showcasing SOAS's research outputs.

The policy including information on submission and the scope of SOAS Research Online can be found here.  SOAS academics should also refer to the SOAS Open Access Policy (PDF, 161KB)  to check what is required of them in relation to making their research outputs available in SOAS Research Online.

More information and guidance for SOAS authors on how to add outputs can be found in the Using Worktribe intranet page.

The repository contains both full-text papers and records of research carried out by SOAS researchers. The full-text papers may be pre-prints (drafts prior to the peer-review process), accepted manuscripts (final drafts that include changes resulting from the peer-review process or versions of record (final published versions).

SOAS Research Online is an integral part of the School’s work in supporting researchers to meet open access requirements of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and external funders.
